Pre- and Post-Judgment Mediation with Attorneys and Clients

Parenting decisions don’t stop after a Court Order is signed.
Whether you’re working toward a settlement or navigating changes after judgment, new questions and challenges will come up—sometimes unexpectedly. Our mediation services provide a calm, structured environment where an experienced professional guides you through challenging issues—helping you focus on solutions that prioritize your child’s well-being, avoid the emotional and financial costs of court, and ensure your voice is heard in decisions that matter.

Using a shuttle diplomacy approach, Jordana works directly with you and your attorney, and your Co-Parent and their attorney, moving between the two sides in separate physical spaces or in ZOOM breakout rooms to help reach practical, workable agreements. This method allows each party to speak openly and privately while keeping the focus on finding solutions that are in the best interest of your child.

Common topics addressed in these mediations include:

  • Adjusting custody or Parenting Time schedules
  • Discussing school changes
  • Deciding whether a child should see a therapist and selecting the right provider
  • Choosing extracurricular activities and determining cost-sharing and logistics
  • Coordinating vacation schedules
  • Addressing other parenting matters as they arise

Sessions can take place on ZOOM, at our office, or Jordana can travel to one of your attorney’s offices for your convenience.

Fee: $300 per hour, plus applicable travel time
Scheduling: Please book at least three weeks in advance to reserve a half- or full-day dedicated to your mediation process.

Divorce Mediation Services

Divorce mediation offers a constructive, respectful path for couples seeking to dissolve their marriage while minimizing conflict and avoiding costly litigation. Jordana Wolfson, a certified Divorce Mediator, has successfully guided many couples through mediation agreements covering Parenting Time, custody, and division of assets.

Mediation is:

  • A viable alternative to court battles
  • A non-adversarial, client-driven process
  • Private and confidential
  • Less expensive than traditional divorce methods
  • Less stressful for spouses—and their children
  • A faster route to finalizing your divorce

Beyond Parenting and Custody

While Jordana specializes in Parenting and Custody matters, mediation that involves dividing marital assets requires additional professional support. To ensure that financial decisions are thorough and informed, the family will be required to work with an attorney and/or a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA).

Jordana has trusted referrals for attorneys and CDFAs who provide expert guidance tailored to each family’s needs. Here’s how this can work:

  • If the couple hires one attorney, that attorney can officially represent only one party but can handle all the necessary paperwork filings.
  • The other party can then hire a limited-scope attorney (referrals provided) to review documents and provide legal advice.
  • When working with a CDFA to collect financial information and explore options for asset division, the couple can still engage a limited-scope attorney to file all paperwork generated by Jordana.

This approach ensures the mediation process remains focused and cost-effective while giving each party the legal and financial guidance they need.
