Counseling & Support Services

Spread the love

There are many ways in which we can help you through the trying times of divorce.  Jordana Wolfson, LMSW, is not only a licensed therapist and social worker, but a certified and trained divorce mediation specialist. For year she has worked with children and families of all ages and types as an education administrator.  This wealth of experience and knowledge, in addition to her own personal family history and background combine to allow Co-Parenting Solutions, LLC to offer outstanding counseling and support services including:

  • Mental health counseling, training and support services: for adult children of divorce, parenting teenagers, or any other family situations in order to maintain healthy family dynamics
  • Work with parents to help their child/children in the most optimal way possible through the transition of living in two homes
  • Assistance for newly-partnered parents to begin a peaceful “blending” process of their family early
  • Provide a set of guidelines for treatment of the other parent to minimize emotional trauma for the child/children
  • Education for families/extended families on the impact of divorce and Co-Parenting solutions
  • Teach parents the skills needed to parent effectively, constructively and positively in the changing circumstance of no longer living together
  • Working with parents post-divorce, or those who were never married, to further enhance their Co-Parenting styles and/or modify their original Parenting Time Agreement to meet the changing needs of their children.
  • Develop and enhance positive communication patterns between the parents that can be utilized when facing future parenting challenges with their child/children
  • Provide support and guidelines for families that are “blending” new groups of children together in a new co-habitation or re-marriage
  • Provide support to adult children of divorce who find themselves experiencing being “caught in the middle” between their parents
